Analysis of the current situation in the field of travel insurance of tourism participants

This work is focused on the current situation in the travel insurance market and how this corresponds to the current needs demand. The first part is about the insurance industry and product detail then travel insurance. The second part examines supply, thus the offer of travel insurance from various distributors and compares them with each other. A further section deals with the requirements of the passengers thus the demand. The result of the work describes the intersection of supply and demand. In conclusion, test hypotheses and summarizes the main findings.

Comparison of travel insurance offered by commercial insurance companies in Czech Republic

Bachelors thesis analyzes travel insurance offered in Czech Republic. Three insurance companies were chosen for the analysis - Česká pojišťovna, Generali and Kooperativa. In the first chapter travel insurance is described, above all insurance and services. Second part includes comparison of insurance and services of individual insurance companies. In this chapter most of all insurance terms and conditions are examined. The end of this part is a thesis, whether is sufficient for client to chose a travel insurance only by parameters such as price or limit of the insurance benefit or analysis of insurance terms of every travel insurance is necessary.

The Bachelor thesis is focused on General liability, which is extended to the issue of liability of the town Písek due to injuries of citizens of the town incurred on the roads in winter period 2009/2010. The target of the first part of this work, a theoretical part, is to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic, which is complemented by a comparison of selected insurance products. The second, practical part, highlights to low awareness of citizens regarding the evidence of resulting the injury and a relatively low number of people in Písek, who suffered a loss and have received compensation to date. The contribution of the thesis is a detailed development work and consideration of the situation which arose in Písek in winter.

Differences in the structure of non-life insurance in the Czech and Slovak Republic

Bachelor's thesis on the topic of 'Differences in the structure of non-life insurance in the Czech and Slovak Republic' is divided into five parts. The first part focuses on the legal framework of both countries with emphasis on technical reserves and insurance agents. Further it continues with the characteristics of non-life insurance structured depending on the form of insurance, ie. the insurance construction, and also depending on types of risks for non-life insurance of persons, property and liability. One of the most important activities of an insurance company is included in the penultimate chapter headed 'The Settlement of Claims'. A description of the various stages of the process of liquidation and differences in liquidation of certain types of non-life insurance is also included. The last part is devoted to the analysis of differences of insurance markets in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
